She always said just the right things! It is definitely about striping this spring, since stripes are big this season!
Having seen stripes on the runway during the spring 2013 fashion week, its no surprises that one can see stripes everywhere. From designer clothing to high street bands, everybody is screaming stripes.
While designers like Marc Jacobs and Balmain showcased stripes in their collections, high street brand like Mango and Forever 21 house a special collection dedicated to stripes. Even my online lover Asos has a collection dedicated to this trend!

While nautical stripes is one way of looking at it, stripes this season vary in colour and in size. But my personal favourite definitely has to be monochrome stripes. Something tells me, its not stripes unless its black and white.
Stripes on stripes too has become a huge rage, and is a trend I am loving. Since clashing prints is trendy right now, pairing stripes with stripes is a win win all the way. Think a mix of vertical and horizontal stripes in different sizes. One can even mix prints and wear stripes with florals and animal prints. Adding a pop of colour to your stripes is also a good idea.
My striping guru is Atlantic-Pacific blogger Blair Eadie. Her style is aways bang on and she wears stripes better than nobody else does. So incase you are looking for inspiration, look no further. She mixes stripes with animal prints, neons, florals, polka dots and makes it look effortless chic. These are some of her looks I love the best.
